A new feature release for RTT-MBT is now available for all supported platforms. This version contains new usability features and bug fixes for errors detected during the tool qualification.

New Features

  1. Allow use of license servers with local RTT-MBT projects.
  2. Detect and keep changes in the generated .rttdoc file when generating a new one.
  3. integrate umlparser errors into model_errors.json written by model sanity checker.

Bugfixes

  1. Various smaller parser fixes and extensions to cover all parser requirements.
  2. Detect test scenario model components using the respective stereotype or model configuration value.

Compatibility

This version mainly contains bug fixes. The fix that the stereotype TEST_SCENARIOS (or the respective model configuration definition) is now used by RTT-MBT to identify test scenarios can lead to problems for existing models that expect the test scenario components being identified by having an ancestor called ‘TestScenarios’. All other bug fixes and improvements should not have a negative effect on existing installations and models.

Binaries are available for CentOS-7 64bit This RTT-MBT version works with RTT-Plugin version 1.6.5. (Eclipse 2019-12 or newer) RTT-Plugin version 1.5.3 and later is expected to work, but some features might not be accessible RTT-Plugin versions before 1.4.0 are not recommended and are not expected to work correctly wit this RTT-MBT version.
